Back then I was the crazy mum telling everyone we would sell everything to travel the world. I had no idea how we'd fund it or make it last. I was a mum with a big crazy dream & an insane amount of commitment to that dream. Back then, I couldn't afford a lot of international travel, we did go between NZ and Australia a fair bit though πŸ’›

I *thought* we couldn't afford to travel the world yet. So I took my kids to places like Vivid Sydney, trips up and down the NSW coast, even road trips to Queensland. I wanted my children to see the world. 🌏

When I began this crazy dream, I thought maybe one or two years and my husband would have had enough. And here we are. I've lived abroad since 2011, we were expats in Australia.

Now here we are, it's 2023 and we've been able to travel for over three years. We are giving our now four children an education unlike anything available in the system 🀩

Is it always easy? No. Is it worth it. πŸ’―

If you've got big, crazy dreams:

Make

Them

Happen ✨

You deserve to live your wildest dreams πŸ¦‹

I think in normal circumstances traveling the world is the only dream worthy of working hard for, and saving and wanting more money to make it reality.

If it's your dream, I recommend studying which low cost countries you might be able to get visas for and work abroad. My biggest wow moment was realising I could travel and live my dream while building my dream. ✨

You can use something like passportindex.org to help you find countries you can more easily enter. I know not everyone has it as easy as us on NZ passports πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›

The only thing I would be worried, if I were a parent, is the medical insurance of my kids.

It's not too expensive travelling, far less than a policy in a home country ✨

That’s so weird. Does it mean we have been ripped off all this time?

Probably if you're from the USA πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

Congrats!! How inspiring

Thanks, Ryan. It's my dream to inspire people to live life differently. It's an amazing feeling to meet people IRL who have followed our journey and tell us we inspired their journey in some way ✨😍🀩
