May I present to you, ‘The Hours’ necklace by Wallace Chan 😍

Composed of aquamarines, diamonds, sapphires, and the 58.38-carat aquamarine central stone 💙🩵🤤, on the back of which Chan has intricately (under water) carved a face inspired by the Horae, the Greek goddesses. The Wallace Chan Porcelain and titanium.

What he does is a very very very unique thing. And also very few people can afford this.

You know I am into jewelry and would someday like to have my own small line, but I personally would not even attempt to try and make what he makes lol I’ll let him do that. 😅🙌

The thing is...

I'm technically capable of this. With the right equipment, it's totally doable. However, the cost to get to that point is prohibitive.

The other thing is:

I'm not artistic like that.😅

I'm much better at bringing other's designs to life.

Growing up with a goldsmith definitely made me a little bit jaded when it comes to jewelry but I can appreciate art and proper craftsmanship when I see it.

Ngl I kind of miss going to a large gem shows purely for some of the artwork.
