In Amethyst https://github.com/vitorpamplona/amethyst we can easily hide notes/post that we don't want to see. Also can set relays setting so we can prevent to see a lot of spams. :)

Ah, I think you are using regular version of Damus right? The new beta version in Test Flight solve most of this problem.
Unfortunately, Apple is slow to include this beta version. You need to wait for more time until updates come to regular version š
