Arch Linux broke the same way on two of my machines at the same time after updates.

Someone somewhere is ready to tell me it’s my fault. I probably held my mouth wrong during updates.

You should try NixOS, it's literally unbreakable.

Had some issues a couple times (I broke it) but I fixed in 5 minutes, no reinstall. 😎

Was great until I wanted to use neovim. That was excruciating. I will try it again soon.
