Properties the core team decided weren't important enough. Mainstreamers will turn bitcoin into SoV only, they should be thankfully Monero exists.

Exactly. Maxis present a very warped view of the world but reality permits to use bitcoin as SoV and monero for day-to-day transactions.

I think it was some 4 years ago that I've done a transaction with bitcoin from chain to chain. The costs are just too high for everyday usage and the lack of privacy is always a bother. Most people take years to understand the importance of that.
