Here's an "Everyday Technology" report. I ***hate*** bad design, and conversely, ***love*** and greatly admire good design.

I've been using honey in my coffee lately. Dispensing honey can be a messy, sticky business, so I was ***delighted*** to discover this brilliant container design:

Obviously, the upside-down package solves the "slow as molasses" viscosity and flow issue, but the spout design is the most ingenious feature:

If you look closely, you can see a plastic membrane with an "X" slit that opens just enough under pressure when the bottle is squeezed to let the honey flow. When you stop squeezing, the "X" seals and cleanly cuts off the flow without leaving a sticky mess...

Super design!💖🥰🚀👍🙏🏻😁

Great question!😃

I only discovered them recently, so no cold weather experience yet...

I suppose a couple minutes in a pan of warm water would solve that...

Or, wrap it with plumber's pipe heater tape.😜🤣😂
