Yeah I gravitate towards pure efficiency and shrewdness 😂 so this is something I’ve learned and learned to embrace.

I’m still quite efficient (don’t accumulate much stuff) and save the majority of earnings. But as I’ve gotten older I’ve started splurging on certain things (trips, espresso machine, nicer vehicle, nice mountain bike, etc) that have tangibly improved the quality of my life and I feel they’re all well worth the money spent. It was money I’d saved too so didn’t feel dirty about it like going into debt to acquire things I didn’t earn.
