i'm pretty sure i need to do it more often, but probably halt exactly when that feeling starts. that's ketosis, and it means my liver has started burning fat really hard. it is good, but i have a lot of fat now, and that's partly because of the food i'm eating. i probably also need to be taking more salt when i am fasting.

whatever happened to the food tho, in credible. within an hour it was all through me, my empty guts were like "wtf is this????"

i know people say you have to be careful what you eat but i think for sure you have to go easy. i piled it in... 3 eggs, 200g of cheese, a litre of milk lol. that probably didn't help either. i remember laying there on my bed listening to my stomach starting the downward spiral and that's when everything went wrong. my intestines were like spaz.

Just be careful. Listen to your body. Don't die.

it's normal for ketosis, same thing happened last time i just didn't go nuts on the food.

i really need to be doing this at least once a season if not monthly. just to get up to the point ketosis starts. this is when the digestive system is almost completely empty, and the digestive system starts to self repair.

also, if you have never been in ketosis, the key thing you notice is you feel hot. fasting for 3 days generally brings it on. it is possible to get there just with food but you have to eat pretty small at first and avoid having too much protein because that will lead to a spike in blood sugar as well. i think that long darkness exposure speeds up the process as well. my theory is that it's winter metabolism.

getting into ketosis as well as voiding the GI tract both help improve your health. i felt great for about 3 months after the last time (first time) i did a 3 day and got into ketosis.

Yeah I've done it - I just don't really trust it. Seems like a convenient time for nature to do a little autophagy of its own, where you're the cell. I do think it's a healthy thing to do, but I think caution is warranted.

well, it definitely works to clear out the cobwebs, i'm gonna do it monthly now
