Anybody know why zap.army is a thing and how exactly does it work? I’m trying to understand the implications of this toggle website that is “Not associated with Damus.”

Apple won’t allow Damus to include note zaps. If you use zap.army, it hacks Damus to be able to zap notes and allows the app to remain in the app store.
