I suspect it doesn't matter. Those DEI programs are there to force companies to hire based on Diversity. Once they've taken over the boardroom, no one needs to force them. They're doing it by choice now.

You think someone in charge, that was a DEI hire, would actually hire a more qualified person to work for them.

It could be debated that being force to be diversified could even hurt their cause now. One set of rules to give them power, then change the rules so it can't be taken back.
