Reminds me once I was doing a control system upgrade for the air force. But there was one computer that needed to be installed in a high security area I couldn't go to.
So I was installing the damn thing over the phone π
Sounds complicated π
My colleague was in there but he was like Stache old lmao still a seasoned controls engineer though.
I had a shared network folder to send hotfixes through that the cybersecurity guy chaperoning me had to hack into the inside computer to set up. It was wild.
I got to go in the room after it was all done though. Neat place.
They let you in after? π€£
Do you think they were trying to see if it was possible to do from the outside?
They old guy overseeing the project made an exception and escorted me in. I really wasn't supposed to be there but we had gotten friendly.
The guy had some super high civilian rank. He could do whatever he wanted π
I think it was just the bizarreness of bureaucracy π€£
