Another night of heavy Russian airstrikes on Ukrainian cities, with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk reacting as follows:
“This is what happens when someone appeases barbarians. More bombs, more aggression, more victims. Another tragic night in Ukraine.”
With Trump blocking the delivery of military aid and intelligence data to Ukraine, Putin has gained much more freedom to target both civilian and military sites. When asked about the increase in Russian bombings on Ukraine following the aid and intelligence blockade, Trump stated that he did it because he is unsure whether Ukraine wants to negotiate. Regarding Putin, Trump said he trusts him and that, by bombing Ukraine, Putin is simply doing what “anyone would do” against a country without the resources to defend itself.
Note: The Polish PM announced yesterday his plan to increase Poland’s military force to half a million soldiers and to seek nuclear weapons.
