Protesters no matter their position are exercising their right to be heard.
Those calling themselves protesters while assaulting and battering others and destroying and damaging property are not protesters.
Those interfering with law enforcement in the performance of their lawful duties are not protesters.
Those are criminals and a threat to be dealt with most harshly.
From my experience wearing a badge for four decades, many illegal aliens are hard working men and women sending money home to their families. They are still breaking the law. The sizable fraction are murderous gang members, thugs, and pedophiles. These need to be imprisoned and deported on completion of sentence.
That said, you are correct. All crime must be dealt with. Those who attack protesters, assaulting and battering them must be dealt with.
