When ChatGPT loses its โ€œmindโ€ and starts making things up you know youโ€™ve reached the end of the internetโ€™s documented understanding of a subject and you are in true R&D territory.

The top 10% of knowledge workers have always lived in that niche.

If you are looking for information for an industrial application then you virtually never find that information on the internet in the current world.

The internet has lots of consumer information, a meaningful chunk of scientific information, but scant industrial information.

Google canโ€™t tell you the information you need to build a hydroelectric dam, or an airport, or even a railway bridge.

However, I think you can conduct engineering projects with AI agents. You have to manage them and have a doc system and a bunch of prior work, but you can train the agents and they can actually learn on the job. This is literally a side project of mine just now.

Yeah, as just one example, I find this to be fascinating.

ChatGPT is a great tool but it's still whack AF sometimes. Ask it about nostr. Even throw the GitHub link in there.
