That's is going to be true for all nostr apps. You will never know if your friend are seeing you replies, zaps or DMs until you receive a reply back.

It's like not knowing your friend is not using Instagram anymore even though the account is still there. The app might not even be installed in his phone anymore.

We could have a "seen" mark, but that will allow anyone to track everybody.
