Stayed there for a couple of nights and it’s definitely impressive in the flesh.
Did you know they forgot to include a sewage solution for that thing? They truck the shit out. A marvel of architectural stupidity.
Take the tour to the observation deck. Worth it.

I had the same experience, truly amazing feat of engineering.
However, I did find much of the city to be repetitive, centrally planned, cookie cutter architecture. That was ~8 years ago, maybe it’s different now?
