I have recently finished the “Chapterhouse: Dune” by Frank
Herbert. It’s the last book in the series and leaves an
open end which is actually nice because the universe in the
book remains large and mysterious.

I never bothered to read past god emperor, anything insightful from the last 2 books that isn't covered by any of the others?
Ah, “God Emperor” – I always thought that he’s actually
quite funny (or comical), and terrifying at the same time.
The following 2 books focus on Bene Gesserit &
Tleilaxu. Interesting to see how various civilization
archetypes compare in the long run. Ixians don’t have a
bright future...
