Sure, the gain is, for example 100% on YoY with Bitcoin, but owning good companies that provide services or goods is just simply, good business.

Bitcoin doesn't farm or create chemicals or pesticides. It doesn't extract nickle and copper or rake the oil fields of Canada. If it did, it'd put more weighting into it. Though, I have/hodl both.

Business has many public facing risks too - human risk, capital risk, economic and natural risks. Bitcoin does not.

But then again, where's the fun in that?
