i got lucky through connections i made on nostr

it's not as hard if you can deal with working for shitcoin projects but i did 6 months of that and those bitches are crazy cult organisations more than software dev shops, at least the two i encountered

the state of linkedin these days is pretty friggin bizarre too, i wouldn't know how you find a gig - i'm kinda glad i got one and things are well with it

probably it will get easier in the next 6 months as bitcoin pumps and that flows into all the crypto VC buckets

Yeah, was afraid it's like that. Thanks anyway!

well, i'm not one to sugar-coat it... i am very lucky and i have enough buffer that if i needed to i could probably survive the process of getting in again

i don't know your situation so i'm just gonna assume it's not great and i hope you land something soon

quite the opposite. I work for the same large sw company for more then 15 years.

I'm more concern about the amount of bullshitness I have to deal with 😂

So thinking about retirement with some side job.

well, the main business we are involved with currently is contracting to do grant projects for various things... previously was ICP, currently on arweave, and maybe there is a NEAR project coming up

i'm sure there is others out there but if you were interested i could see if there might be a fit

Thank you for the help, but what I'm looking for is more of a generic approach/place where ppl advertise their problems to solve and I can apply. There are some apps for that, but it usually sux hard.

Maybe I don't even know what I want 😂

May be I just want to have option when I decide to leap...

well, put your feelers out... something will come up... and don't forget to pray
