America's allies are separating themselves ideologically from American values. As an American, it would be hard for me to support military actions to defend these countries in the event of an attack on their soil.

Both USA and UK have arrested thousands for social media posts and attending peaceful protests.

Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg lobbied the Texas government to implement digital ID, not one protest in Texas, nobody opposed it.
Only state I'm USA where I've even seen people protesting against digital id was California.
