For me the best art is very very underrated. It took me years to find the kinds of art that I cannot live without
That is great
But I can’t say I went into it blind - I was studying how to play music and how to paint and draw for a very long time before I knew enough to find what I was looking for

In year 1 I was completely closed-minded compared to year 10, so the world suddenly became a lot more interesting and I could make new connections because I could see more possibilities. If I was still in year 1-mode I’d be very depressed right now 😂

I would say especially with music it’s important to find something you can enjoy listening to every day. And if that requires learning how to play an instrument, then maybe that’s a community you can connect with.
