Growing up as an Italian girl I dreamed about winning a green card to have a bright future in the land of the free.

It turned out I was lucky... not getting one.

I remember reading all your tweets in February of 2020 thinking how lucky I was to be in the US. They would never lock us down like Italy.

Boy, was I wrong.
