Brains are super weird. Some days I work in complete silence with no noise. Sometimes I need music, sometimes an audiobook, sometimes a TV show I've seen about a billion times going on in the background. I don't know why my brain is like this, but it seems that sometimes I need the maximum amount of distraction to achieve focus, if that makes any sort of sense.

I stopped going out for lunch with my wife on coding days as I was just annoying to be with.

Same, but most days I function best with fast paced music

Yeah. I get it.

Most of the time smallest distraction throws me off track. And then can be super focused around craziest loudest environments.

I think the latter takes work to get to, and the former is everybody
