People need to touch grass or build their own NOSTR client. Lot of complaining from people that do nothing. Meanwhile devs are working for a fraction of what they could be making with a big tech company and all they get is complaints. I’m a proud nostr:npub18m76awca3y37hkvuneavuw6pjj4525fw90necxmadrvjg0sdy6qsngq955 purple subscriber. Not because I use notedeck, but because it’s a small amount of money to support devs.
Honestly if it weren’t for the fact that i want nostr the succeed, the amount of stress from people saying you suck every day and are not working fast enough or on the right features is exhausting. I don’t know who would subject themselves to this if it was just for a paycheck, like you said i could be getting paid more elsewhere for a lot less stress and more time with my family.
I’m sure it feel very thankless at times. But for every upset user, there are multiple silent users who are thankful for the work you do. I hope you are able to silence the critics in your head and focus on doing the good work in this world. God bless.
