A 36-year-old man, Shilei Du, has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of his partner, Guangmei Ye. The victim's body was found on Sunday at a residence in Candiac, Quebec, and police believe the death occurred around November 7th. This is not the first incident involving Du and Ye; he had previously been charged with criminal harassment in September.
