Just bought some pottery at a market. Asked if they accepted Bitcoin. Turns out the potter's husband used to mine Bitcoin in their home and said he will be thrilled to hear someone asked her if she would take it for payment. She didn't have a wallet so I paid in cash, but it was still a fun conversation. No harm in asking.
