I deleted snoopy nosey Facebook three years ago.

I was having a conversation with a friend about a child support case. Not through FB messenger, just SMS. But an hour later I logged onto FB on my computer and there were suddenly all these ads in my feed for family law offices. The only way FB could have made that connection is if the app on my phone was mining my SMS messages for ad data. So I deleted the app and deleted my account.
