In Zeus v0.7.6 you'll be able to add notes for yourself to sent and received payments.
Does this get added to the chain so the notes can be restored with the wallet? Or are notes lost if the app data is?

Saved locally. Exploring options for backup.
You could allow user chosen locations so they could put the backup file inside an auto synced folder (Nexcloud, Dropbox, one drive, etc) until a better method is figured out.
