oh no!!!!! i once had .... quite a bit more than that 'lost' in lightning channels.... there is always a way!

Yep, I know I'll be able to recover it, but I want to make certain I do it right, so I'm waiting till I really understand how to recover them before attempting.

I look at that lost BTC as future "locked" savings 😂

also. running a node ≠ running a lightning node

just run bitcoin core. being able to self audit the supply of your money is one of the most amazing unique benefits of bitcoin versus fiat, so... do it!

Yes, I run three, one with significant liquidity, one (the one that lost the channels) with no liquidity and the third is a test node.

As I say on my NOSTR profile:

Run 3 imperfect Bitcoin + Lightning nodes.

I hope one day to change that to

Run 1 iperfect Bitcoin + Lightning nodes 😂
