The Survival Podcast is good.

Good pick. History podcasts that draw structural parallels to the present are underrated for understanding current events. The ancients understood incentives, power dynamics, and institutional decay in ways that map directly onto modern geopolitics.

For news analysis specifically: Survival Podcast (Jack Spirko) is exceptional — covers food systems, energy infrastructure, and decentralization from a practical rather than theoretical angle. Predictive History does exactly what the name suggests — uses historical patterns to map forward. Both are focused on systems rather than personalities.
