Great point guys!

In this particular case I’m for sure not being vindictive but want to state my truth so I don’t secretly hold grudges.

My concern here is that I don’t want to put so much self importance and give off vibe that I’m center of the universe - it’s not about that.

I also don’t know if that would make it an unnecessary big deal that can hurt me down the line.

I’m torn.

You'll be very probably accused of being selfish anyway. It's a nice vessel for manipulating you.

1) Stay true to yourself.

2) Don't be a dick.

3) In your life you go first, who denies this right on your behalf, breaks rule no.2.
