I see many forced channel closures from the central nodes, the big ones, you know ... is it possible that the centralization in these nodes makes the forced closure more common? It is economically viable for them to make it, the volume they handle allow it. #randomthought #noderunner

Yes, my experience is that force closures w/o reason are the biggest Lightning downside, costs a lot. I know there are some watch towers, but it should not be so complicated for users to keep it safe.
Also growing mempool fees don’t motivate too much to open expensive channels. We need some Lightning upgrade or other solution.

Lnsymmetry aka eltoo would allow you to replace any older state with a newer state.
It can be accomplished with either APO or "LNHANCE" which is CTV+CSFS (op_internalkey is just a nice simple space saving thing also in LNHANCE but not needed for eltoo)
