I believe that it will become apparent to many, soon, that the Balkanization of the United States is the best outcome and the only hope for people to have a place to escape to. Red states are done with DC. The left is run by international communist, who want nothing more than to take down their biggest impediment to power: a strong US. The incentives of the powerful don’t bode well for an intact 50 state union.
