With an average annual inflation of 3% since 1913, the dollar has halved in value every ~20 years.

Let that sink in… now go stack more sats.

Things aren’t getting more expensive, the currency is going down

Something normies are yet to realize.

What has the average salary for the same job done over that period of time. While I appreciate the work, your analysis is incomplete.

Salaries have gone up in number due to inflation but they’ve also been losing value.

If they keep printing money, all prices will go up, and all money will be worth less and less.

Wage inflation is part of inflation. Not because of it. To end inflation you would need to end pay increases. Or have workers create more for the same amount of pay.

But you are right that printing money is a big factor.

Stack more sats and send some zaps ⚡️😎

Why do people still value their net worth in dollars ?

Mass brainwashing since childhood. It's almost programmed: Give a 20$ bill to a very young kid and it's like they know it is something supposed to be important; their eyes will lit up.

Because unfortunately we still live in a fiat standard.
