Can the cashu token be used at a different mint?
I think #Cashu allows as #Lightning and #Liquid to adapt to high commission environments on the main chain and small payments. I consider #Cashu layer 3 of #Bitcoin since it depends on #Lightning.
The advantages of #Cashu are that token sending fees are free and it has greater privacy than #Lightning. But #Cashu also depends on mints, which in a simple way to explain are nodes who independently exchange #Cashu tokens for Sats. That is why we must trust a third party involved to maintain these mints. Just as #Liquid can be taken as a federation.

Very good question. #cashu allows you to exchange tokens between different mints. It will only use a #Lightning transaction to do it and will burn the tokens from the previous mint once transferred to avoid double spending.
The recommendation is to use several trusted mints. You can even create your own easily at LnBits.
