Tonight at dinner I taught my 4 year old and 6 year old about bank runs using pecans as deposits and me as the bank. We covered fractional reserve lending and what happens when depositors panic all at the same time.

My 4 year old was having trouble with the concepts so we played a few rounds of musical chairs as a family. Her take away: banks aren’t fair!

They now know more about money than most adults.

Great lessons!

Arming children with financial understanding and tools is so important. Kudos to you. Governments have made sure not to teach it in schools so they can keep stealing from us and perpetuating the ponzi.
