The total disregard for node Runners was astounding. When did Core suddenly change position!?
I’m guessing it was more nuanced than that. However, left in that position of perceived power for too long, and it warps human sense making.
My 2 cents is that this is a VERY good occurrence.
JL will go 0/2 and hopefully fade into obscurity. Kicking and screaming no doubt.
CORE will splinter
Lots of new(er) Bitcoiners will get a front row seat as to why the FOSS decentralising game theory behind the protocol is THE glue that makes it work.

Agree with this take and i see it as positive at the end of the day. It will shake up Bitcoin Core dominance and keep the focus on Bitcoin as Money.
