The dead internet theory is becoming a reality as you read this:

Create a NOSTR profile (or any social network) and have an AI send out viral-style post to receive encouragement or zaps 🤖 Have any of you who sent me SATs checked if I'm a human or an advanced AI?

The internet has entered a new era, and now it SUCKS

A real connection on the internet is becoming increasingly difficult because the number of interactions with AIs is enormous (and will only increase)

This new era of internet has become bland literally because of bots. Clicks generate revenue but those same clicks can be farmed from bots. If you can benefit from bots spamming then what’s the point of building and creating something of real value. Being able to get paid for fake engagement will obviously water down a lot of the content that’s out there and go against building real connections.
