The only people I know who take privacy seriously are those that have negatively experienced loss of privacy. The same goes for security. The folks with the best locks on their houses have been robbed. My friends that own guns have been in situations where they were attacked and wished they could have better defended themselves.

Wise men learn from experience, but the wisest men learn from the experience of others. The rest will always be lazy and choose convenience over freedom.
