In the upcoming episode of the Bitcoin Takeover podcast, Matej Zak announces that a new Trezor hardware wallet is going to get launched in 2023.

What we know about it so far is that it’s going to have physical buttons, a simpler user experience, new software features not available on Trezor One, a USB-C port, but no Tropic Square open source security chip yet.

According to the new Trezor CEO, the Tropic Square chip is still in testing phase and might take another 2 years until it gets manufactured and integrated in a new hardware wallet.
