There are many folks that would argue Israel has every right to conduct these strikes because Iran wants to eliminate them.

Sure, you can say that.

But does anyone honestly believe this makes Israeli citizens safer? When has this ever been the case? People in Israel should be able to live in peace, but the leadership is fundamentally flawed, given unconditional support from the U.S. to do as it wishes, and continues to put everyone in the region, including its citizens (and Jews around the world) in grave danger.

This does not mean let nations destroy Israel and the Jewish people. It means the course of action from Bibi and his war cabinet will not work to bring safety or peace, imo.

The fact that they can unilaterally go around bombing countries with impunity is crazy to me. I think the region is showing great restraint towards Israel.

Israel’s action put Arab governments in a tough position. Their citizens want them to do something to support Palestinians but they don’t because they are bought off by the West. It’s going to get to a point where it sparks revolution across the Middle East and will usher in governments that will not be remotely interested in normalizing relations with Israel.

Israel is sowing the seeds of its own destruction and it didn’t need to be that way. If they really wanted peace they could have had it by now. The fanatical regime in power are trying to usher in some type of Armageddon to achieve some biblical prophec… scary times ahead.

Yes, I believe this makes Israeli citizens safer. Looks like they’ve taken out significant capabilities, as well as pushed back the date Iran can acquire nuclear weapons. This might also precipitate a regime change in Iran eventually too. (Do you think they could’ve managed the extensive in-Iran activities without local support?)

Yes, definitely makes them safer.

Israel is cancer

People in Iran should also be able to live in peace, by the way.
