I don't tell my friends I own Bitcoin. I don't go to Bitcoin conventions. I don't wear Bitcoin merch. I don't buy hardware wallets or any Bitcoin-related items. I don't use Bitcoin services that require KYC. I don't own physical books related to Bitcoin. I don't have Bitcoin stickers on my laptop. I don't try to orange pill normies or shop owners. I don't buy Bitcoin P2P in person. I don't talk about Bitcoin with anyone. If you break into my home, there is nothing there that would reveal that I am a bitcoiner.

I am not paranoid, I am merely taking proactive steps to protect my family and my coins against what will come in the future. Private life, peaceful mind.

yet you go to a social network to talk about how you're a bitcoiner, if your account ever gets tied with your real identity later down the line, all your effort was in vain.

even better opsec would be to never mention it anywhere at all.

Faith needs mutual reassurance, you can't just keep it to yourself or it'll fade.

Nostr provides a virtual congregation where you don't have to risk showing your face.
