But it's already there, you can set up NWC node (like Alby Hub) as funding source to LNbits / and you can generate NWC connections from your LNbits

How do I generate NWC connections via LNBits? Do I need to setup NWC as the funding source first?

You don't have to.

Good question! There is no extension in their repository

But you should be able to manually install this
