I’m having this wonderful day but of course something has to ruin it. There are black houseflies all over just being annoying. It’s like a last gasp because it’s cool, so they’re all flocking to the sunlight.

There really is something to the black fly in your Chardonnay. Whatever else is going right, something will come along to fuck it up.
