This is the leader of the “free world” blaming corporations for being greedy and not knocking prices down. Seems like a set up to start price fixing/controls. Which inevitably create shortages and then revolution typically follows as people can’t feed their families.
Maybe stop the money printer Joe and cut government spending. 
He can’t do anything, nor will he.

Posturing to eventually give the govt control of the price of bread
That won’t happen either.
Though, price controls on food isn’t a horrible idea.
Price controls are a terrible idea, and have never worked -- unless the intended goal is shortages.
