My non-gaming take on obligatory return to office is that YES, remote work SHOULD NOT BE only for elite jobs as that NOT every job needs to be physical. NOW...

...I find it difficult to justify people that decided it was a good idea to MOVE AWAY FAR from their working place and their rationale is only because they " found" an opportunity to have a cheaper house as mere & only reason, not even a medical or family need, just entitlement.

And the contrary on looking to help defend the remote work as a right and not a privilege, this is actually unhelpful and boost employers confidence that remote work should be only for the elite jobs.
