Interesting read, thanks nostr:nprofile1qqsx7zn2r8refmdrej60xvhxydn5nedvwflh7xq3zgp0m7ec0htx9kc6mmlt5 . I've been thinking of something like this for a while too... how to make Bitcoin a thing of the 'real' world in a way.

Something I'd like to ask ( maybe I missed this point while reading) is, once a physical object has been embowed with some amount of bitcoin through this minting process, it cannot go back to the digital form right? The sats have gone to a burner address during the process, so its a one way street. It cannot be restored back onto chain essentially.

Once Bitcoin is minted into physical material, it can't be un-minted, just as cash issued as Federal Reserve notes stays physical. The bitcoin ascribed to its minting address is irreversibly defined and bound by what it represents.
