Ugh heartbreaking moment. I had similar happen, case fell out of my hand, popped open on impact, glasses skidded across pavement. Several cars barely missed them. Still use them, despite some scratches from the event
that's how it goes some times lol, the frame was cracked and both lenses popped out and I didn't find them again...
