You nostr people are the ones telling everyone that it is a place for free speech and that there is no censorship. When people come here for this reason and the get censored by relays within days, that is not a good look. Telling non technical users to setup their own relays because the relays are censoring them after they were told there is no censorship is a huge cope. This is an elon scale larp, like where he told everyone he was bringing back free speech to bird site then banned kanye within days and appointed an adl counsel to moderate user content. Itās early but our founding fathers knew that freedom of speech is the freedom to speak (your own relay) not the freedom to be heard (posting to otherās relays). Also seems like an elegant solution to the right to assemble (on relays).

Free speech doesn't mean free speech only for opinions you agree with, it's unconditional. Free speech is for all, like financial freedom is for all. It doesn't matter what you find tasteful or distasteful, it is about the right to voice his opinion freely.
