Trying to find the fastest way to send ⚡️zaps⚡️ with the fewest steps possible.

I linked my LN.tips wallet to both BlueWallet and Zeus and tested which was faster getting from pressing the zap ⚡️ button on a post in Damus to the wallet launching and payment showing as sent. I disabled the wallet selector in Damus so that pressing the zap button immediately launches the default wallet app. Closed all other apps and was on home wifi.

The results were that #[0] was significantly faster. BW took 10 seconds from pressing the zap button to payment sent ✅ while Zeus took only 4.6 seconds. 🤯

The biggest difference was the app load time. BW took several seconds just to load, and then sending the transaction was very quick. Zeus loaded and sent the transaction so quickly that it almost looks like I sped up the video, even though I didn’t. I do have a couple on chain wallets in BW while Zeus only has the one wallet, so they may have some affect.

Short of an in-app wallet, this is the quickest way I’ve found to send zaps. The only thing I need now is for #[1] to automatically return me to Damus once payment is sent successfully.

Using snort with GetAlby on desktop with a pre-approved budget in the GetAlby wallet is probably the fastest I've seen.

I can do a 500 sat zap in under 3 secs (as long as it's within the budget I've set so don't have to manually approve).

Nice 🔥 If I spent more time on my computer that’s probably what I’d be using. I just don’t use it much. I’m on mobile like 99.9% of the time 😂

I had to jump on Notragram - I'd lost about 50 follows because I reinstalled a client and started messing around without adding all my relays in.

Nostragram found about 30 follows that I'd missed.

I log on to both with GetAlby & really like it.

I need to spend more time on that one. I tried it once and liked some of the features. Really nice looking
